SPORT is a 44.65-metre motor yacht built by Feadship as the inaugural hull of the F45 Vantage semi-custom series, delivered in 2007 and refitted in Spring 2022 to an outstanding standard. Designed externally by De Voogt and styled internally by Donald Starkey, she proves that being the first in a series can be the most interesting: the layout decisions made for SPORT were unconventional at the time and remain distinctive today.
Most notably, all five guest cabins are located on the main deck, a design choice that gives each one exceptional natural light and expansive sea views through large sloping outward windows that create the sensation of leaning over the rail and looking directly into the sea. The master suite furthers this connection with a spectacular 4-metre by 2-metre skylight that floods the space with natural light throughout the day. The owner’s study on the upper deck can convert to an additional double bedroom for extra guests.
Starkey’s interiors are bright and contemporary, with cream modular furniture arranged for layout flexibility and gleaming varnished wood floors. Stabilisers at anchor and underway provide comfort throughout. A drop-down stern flap at the transom provides enhanced security when closed and maximises swim platform space when open. Gym, Jacuzzi and a full water toy collection. From $185,000 per week.
The main deck aft of Sport is the primary outdoor social space: a covered area with comfortable built-in seating, a dining table and a natural connection to the swim platform. Whether for casual lunches or formal dinners under the stars, this deck delivers atmosphere and practicality in equal measure.
The main salon of Sport is the centrepiece of the interior: a generous open-plan living and dining area that uses carefully chosen materials, furniture and lighting to create a space that feels both refined and genuinely comfortable. Large windows ensure natural light throughout the day, and the flow between the salon and the aft deck makes indoor-outdoor living effortless for every guest.
The master suite of Sport occupies the best position on the yacht for privacy and natural light. A king-sized bed, ample storage, sitting area, his-and-hers dressing facilities and a premium stone en-suite bathroom with both shower and bath create a private retreat comparable to the finest suite in any five-star hotel.
The sun deck of Sport is the highest and most panoramic outdoor space on board: a Jacuzzi, sun pads, comfortable loungers and a bar create an environment where guests naturally gather as the afternoon light changes. Views are unobstructed in every direction.
The sky lounge of Sport is the social nerve-centre above the main salon: a versatile space with plush sofas, a bar and entertainment system that transitions between a relaxed daytime lounge and a lively evening gathering spot. Its panoramic windows make it equally popular for morning coffee and pre-dinner cocktails.
The 5 staterooms of Sport accommodate 10 guests overnight in surroundings that match the quality of the master suite in materials and detail. Several cabins convert between double and twin configuration, and all are equipped with en-suite bathroom, ample storage, individual climate control and full entertainment systems.
