October to April brings milder Red Sea temperatures and more comfortable conditions for time on deck. June through August is genuinely hot, with sea temperatures and humidity that make the cooler months a clearer choice.
NEOM Bay Airport (NUM) serves the wider NEOM region, with connections via Saudia, flydubai, Qatar Airways, Nile Air and flyadeal to Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Cairo. Onward transfer to the marina is arranged directly with Sindalah.
Sindalah’s own marina and its offshore mooring buoys are built to keep boats off the surrounding reef, which NEOM has developed with conservation in mind. Free anchoring elsewhere along this stretch of coast is generally discouraged, so most charters plan around the marina and its designated moorings rather than open anchoring.
Two to four days suits Sindalah on its own, since the island itself is compact. Most charter guests pair it with a wider Saudi Red Sea itinerary, extending toward Jeddah or AMAALA to the south for a longer trip.
Sindalah’s marina and yacht club have been operating since late 2024, but the island is opening in phases: its hotels, including a Four Seasons property, and some beach club amenities continue to come online through 2026. It’s worth checking current status with a broker before finalising an itinerary.
