November through March, with temperatures around 20 to 30 degrees and calm seas most days. From June to September the heat regularly tops 40 degrees, so many guests shift to evening cruises or add extra air conditioning capacity to the charter, and rates typically fall during those hotter months as demand eases.
Dubai International (DXB) is closest, about 25 minutes by car to Dubai Marina in normal traffic. Al Maktoum International (DWC), further south near Jebel Ali, serves as the secondary gateway and is worth checking if it offers a more convenient flight, though the drive to the marina takes noticeably longer from there.
Dubai Harbour and Dubai Marina both work well for the skyline views and easy access to restaurants and hotels, with a stop off Palm Jumeirah for the beach clubs and a look at Atlantis from the water. Guests wanting a quieter alternative sometimes anchor further along the coast toward Jumeirah for the afternoon.
Dubai works well as a half-day or full-day cruise built around sunset over the marina, which is how most first-time guests experience the city. Those wanting more time typically extend into a multi-day route toward Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah, turning a single evening on the water into a week-long itinerary.
The Dubai International Boat Show returns to Dubai Harbour from 25 to 29 November 2026, drawing yachts and buyers from across the industry, and the Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse falls in late March, one of the richest horse races in the world. Both are worth building a charter around if boats or racing interest you, though marina berths book up quickly during either event.
