The beach club folds open at the stern and puts guests at water level, connecting the yacht to the anchorage in a way that a high-sided boarding platform never manages.
Nine explorer yachts in our fleet carry a beach club. They range from Scintilla Maris at forty five metres to Octopus at one hundred and twenty six. Ludzie, an eighty metre Feadship, opens a full-beam beach club with direct tender access. Moka and Amore, at fifty and fifty five metres respectively, combine beach club living with genuine bluewater range. Kogo and Sea Owl pair a beach club with ice-class construction and long-range fuel capacity.
Weekly rates start at one hundred and thirty six thousand euros for Scintilla Maris and rise to two million two hundred thousand for Octopus, with the median near three hundred and twenty thousand. An advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks. On expedition routes, fuel consumption runs higher than a Mediterranean week.
The fleet follows the seasons. The Mediterranean in summer, the Caribbean from November, but these hulls also reach Alaska, the South Pacific and the Maldives. The beach club transforms a remote anchorage: a place to swim, to sit at water level with a drink in hand, to step into a tender for a reef dive or simply to watch the light change on an unfamiliar coastline.
