Fold out terraces expand the living space of a charter yacht to the waterline, creating shaded platforms that open directly above the sea. Paired with a waterslide, the terraces serve as both a place to sit and watch the action and a launch point for the slide itself, which drops from one or two decks above into the water below.
Nine charter yachts carry both, ranging from the twenty nine metre Vivaldi to the ninety three metre Lady S. At the top of the fleet, Lady S and Sunrays combine multi-deck terraces with engineered waterslides that sweep through the superstructure. In the sixty metre band, Lemon Tree, Katina and Galene integrate terraces with the swim platform and keep the slide within easy reach of crew-operated water toys. Bello and Lady Trudy, at fifty four and forty two metres respectively, deliver the same combination at a more accessible scale.
Weekly rates start at eighty thousand euros for Vivaldi and reach one million seven hundred and fifty thousand for Lady S. The core of the fleet charters between one hundred and eighty thousand and six hundred thousand euros per week, with the median close to three hundred and fifteen thousand. Add roughly thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance, which covers fuel, food, port fees and drinks.
The western Mediterranean dominates the summer season, with the South of France, Sardinia, Croatia and the Amalfi Coast providing the calm anchorages where both features stay in daily use. From November, several yachts reposition to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
