Milos sits at the western edge of the Cyclades, where the meltemi comes through reliably from the north each summer, delivering some of the most consistent sailing conditions in the Aegean. Milos’s sheltered gulf on the north side provides a reliable overnight anchorage when the wind freshens further out to sea, and the inner bays at Kleftiko give excellent holding even in a moderate blow.
