A steam room and a waterslide on the same charter yacht combine two contrasts: humid, still heat below deck and a rush of cold air and spray above it. The steam room sits on the lower deck or within the beach club, heated to order and lined in timber or mosaic tile. The waterslide deploys from the sun deck and drops guests into the sea or a pool one or two levels below.
Ten charter yachts carry both, spanning forty five to ninety six metres. Gladiator, a forty five metre Feadship, opens the fleet, followed by Vicky, a fifty nine metre Baglietto. Through the middle, Silver Angel, Soundwave, Lemon Tree and Stella Maris cover sixty one to seventy two metres across Benetti, Sanlorenzo and VSY builds. At the top, Mimtee, Sunrays, Lady S and Sophia push from seventy nine to ninety six metres.
Weekly rates start at two hundred and eight thousand euros for Gladiator and rise to one million eight hundred thousand for Sophia. The median sits near six hundred thousand euros. Budget an additional thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
