About ANNABEL II

ANNABEL II is a Horizon RP97 motor yacht that brings genuine long-range capability to the Adriatic charter fleet. At just over 30 metres, she is large enough to carry ten guests in real comfort across four generous cabins, yet nimble enough to navigate the narrow channels and tight marina berths that define cruising in Croatia and Montenegro.

Launched in 2009 by Horizon, the Taiwanese builder known for robust construction and sensible engineering, ANNABEL II was comprehensively refitted in 2022. The refit addressed systems, soft furnishings, and exterior surfaces, bringing her firmly into the current decade without erasing the solidity that made the RP97 a favourite among experienced charterers. Her semi-displacement hull is designed for efficiency at moderate speeds rather than headline numbers, and the result is a yacht that covers 10 knots in near silence and reaches 20 knots when the itinerary demands it.

Her exterior spaces are generous by any measure. The aft deck is the social centre of the yacht, with a large dining table sheltered beneath a hardtop overhang and loose seating that can be rearranged for pre-dinner drinks or a lazy afternoon in port. Steps lead down to the swim platform, where the tender is stowed and the water-sports equipment lives, paddle boards, snorkelling gear, and inflatables are all to hand. The foredeck, often overlooked on yachts of this size, has been fitted with sunpads that offer a private retreat away from the main gathering areas.

The flybridge is ANNABEL II’s second living room. A full wet bar, large sun loungers, and a sheltered dining area make it the natural destination during island-hopping transits along the Dalmatian coast. The elevated sightline gives guests a front-row view of the stone-walled towns and fortified harbours that slide past on a typical Croatian itinerary.

Inside, the main salon opens through full-height glass doors from the aft deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The interior design is warm and considered: rich wood panelling, neutral upholstery, and carefully placed lighting that flatters at any hour. A dining area forward of the salon seats the full complement, with service from the galley happening discreetly through a side pantry. A separate media lounge on the lower deck provides a quiet space for films, reading, or simply escaping the midday heat.

Accommodation is spread across four en-suite cabins on the lower deck. The master stateroom is full-beam amidships, with a king-size bed, a study area, and an en-suite bathroom finished to a high standard with marble surfaces and a separate shower. Forward, the VIP cabin offers a second king bed with its own en-suite, while two twin cabins complete the layout, each with private bathrooms and enough storage that guests can settle in for a full week without feeling cramped.

A crew of five operates aboard, including a dedicated chef, ensuring that provisioning, navigation, and itinerary planning happen entirely behind the scenes. The crew quarters are self-contained with their own mess and heads, maintaining a clean separation from guest spaces.

ANNABEL II operates in Croatia and Montenegro, two of the Adriatic’s most rewarding cruising grounds. From Dubrovnik’s medieval walls to the fjord-like Bay of Kotor, from the Kornati archipelago’s deserted bays to Hvar’s waterfront restaurants, she covers a coastline that rewards slow, deliberate exploration. Her semi-displacement hull keeps fuel consumption manageable across longer passages, while her 30-metre length gives her access to smaller harbours and anchorages that superyachts must bypass.

For groups of up to ten who want the Adriatic done properly, without rushing, without crowds, and without compromise on space or crew, ANNABEL II sets the standard.
