About Martita

Delivered in August 2022, Martita is one of the first Extra Yachts X76 explorers to enter the charter market. Built by Palumbo Superyachts at their facilities in Italy, she brings a level of interior volume and outdoor living space that is genuinely uncommon at twenty-two metres, and she does it without the visual bulk that typically comes with the trade-off.

Her interiors were designed by Hot Lab Yacht and Design, and they read as a single, considered statement rather than a collection of separate rooms. The main salon is defined by an expansive wraparound curved glass panel that dissolves the boundary between inside and out, flooding the space with natural light. A large curved sofa, contemporary LED lighting and a neutral palette of greys, beiges, ivory and camel tones create a setting that feels closer to a floating penthouse than a conventional yacht interior. Accents of burnt orange give the scheme a quiet warmth without tipping into excess.

The open-plan galley and bar sit forward of the salon, separated by a retractable window that can open the kitchen entirely to the breeze. It is a layout that suits the kind of relaxed, social chartering that Martita was designed around: eight guests who want to eat well, spend time on the water and move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces without ceremony.

Below deck, four guest cabins accommodate eight overnight. The full-beam master stateroom sits aft on the lower deck, with a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, sofa and a marble-clad ensuite bathroom. A Sony smart TV and iPad room controls are fitted as standard. Forward, a VIP cabin offers similarly generous proportions, while two twin cabins complete the layout. Every cabin carries complimentary Jo Malone amenities, individual safes and full Wi-Fi connectivity.

Outside, Martita punches well above her length. The aft deck opens onto a fifty-square-metre beach club with a DJ console, powered speakers and a Sonos Platinum sound system, all directly connected to an extended swim platform that brings the waterline within a single step. In 2024, the exterior upholstery was refreshed in a deep teal that sits well against her grey-painted hull and superstructure.

The sun deck is the social heart of the yacht. Full-beam sun pads span nearly six metres, with space for up to ten sunbathers, while a full-length dining table seats ten for al fresco meals. Above, a wraparound sofa on the upper sundeck provides a third outdoor space, quieter and more elevated, suited to a morning coffee or an evening aperitivo overlooking the anchorage.

Performance is a genuine strength. Twin engines deliver a cruising speed of fourteen knots and a maximum of twenty-one, with a range of eleven hundred nautical miles. A Seakeeper 22 gyroscopic stabiliser keeps motion manageable at anchor and under way, and her shallow draft of 1.45 metres opens anchorages that deeper-drafted yachts simply cannot reach. A solar panel system adds an environmental dimension that is increasingly relevant to charter guests.

Her water toy inventory is practical and current: a Williams SJ395 tender, Jobe Infinity sea scooters, a wakeboard, towable inflatables and snorkelling gear. It is not an exhaustive collection, but it is well chosen for the Mediterranean coastline she operates along.

Martita charters the Western Mediterranean from twenty-four thousand euros per week, covering the French Riviera, Corsica and Sardinia. Her shallow draft and compact footprint make her a sharp choice for guests who want to explore the smaller ports and quieter coves between Cannes and Porto Cervo.
