SPIRIT is a 54.3-metre motor yacht built by Amels as part of the Limited Editions 177 series and delivered in 2011, earning an award-winning refit in 2020 by Dome Project Interiors that transformed her into the yacht she is today. Tim Heywood’s exterior brings the confident, clean-lined proportions for which the Amels 177 series is known, while the Dome Project interior takes a fresh, light-filled approach: ocean-inspired styling in neutral tones with colourful accents and tactile materials that feel genuinely contemporary rather than just decorated.
SPIRIT is a world cruiser at heart. She has the range and resilience to go where other 54-metre yachts cannot, with her crew having taken her as far as Alaska for adventure-focused private trips. Her charter itineraries reflect that spirit of ambition: the Caribbean, Central America and the Mediterranean are all regularly on the programme, and she carries a full set of dive compressors and steel tanks (12 sets) alongside the usual collection of water toys for guests who want to go deeper.
That water toy collection is exceptional. Most striking is the Safeboat Tender, a custom 12-metre, 14-passenger chase boat capable of 40 knots with air conditioning and shock-absorbing seats, nicknamed The Beast, joined by a 7-metre waterslide from the sundeck to the water, flight e-foils, Yamaha VXR Waverunners, F5S SeaBobs, a climbing wall, kayaks, paddleboards and an inflatable trampoline. SPIRIT is an approved RYA training centre.
The sun deck centres on a teppanyaki grill, a sit-up granite bar, a Jacuzzi and an alfresco dining table for 14, while a dedicated deck gym with panoramic views and a spa therapy room staffed by an onboard masseuse and yoga instructor round out the wellness offering. An 85-inch plasma screen in the sky lounge adds indoor entertainment for evenings in.
Accommodation sleeps 11 guests across five staterooms: a full-beam emperor-sized master suite on the main deck with lounge, office and dressing room, two VIP cabins, one double and one twin with a Pullman berth. The sixth cabin has been converted into a dedicated spa and treatment space. With a crew of 13 and an infectious sense of adventure, SPIRIT is one of the most genuinely active and energetic yachts in her class.
A custom 12-metre Safeboat chase tender, 40 knots, 14 passengers, air-conditioned and shock-absorbed, is the most talked-about tender in SPIRIT’s exceptional toy inventory.
An award-winning 2020 refit by Dome Project Interiors replaced the original Nuvolari Lenard scheme with an ocean-inspired neutral palette and colourful accents.
An emperor-sized bed, private lounge, office and dressing room define the main-deck master suite in SPIRIT’s light, ocean-inspired style.
With the range and crew to reach Alaska, SPIRIT is built for ambitious itineraries well beyond the standard Med-Caribbean circuit.
A calm, ocean-inspired main salon connects to a sky lounge with an 85-inch plasma screen for indoor entertainment.
Two VIP cabins give additional principal guests generous, individually finished accommodation and en-suite bathrooms.
A masseuse, yoga instructor, dedicated spa room, deck gym and Jacuzzi make SPIRIT one of the most wellness-complete 54-metre yachts available.
A teppanyaki grill, granite bar, Jacuzzi and alfresco dining for 14 on the sun deck make SPIRIT as compelling topside as she is in the water.
