At seventy metres, the gym is no longer an afterthought tucked below crew quarters. These yachts offer a purpose-built fitness space with commercial-grade equipment, floor-to-ceiling windows and, on the better builds, direct access to a spa or treatment room next door. Sixteen charter yachts in the seventy metre band carry a gym, giving charterers the widest choice at any length above sixty metres.
The fleet draws from yards including Benetti, Feadship, Amels, Heesen, ISA and Icon Yachts, with actual lengths spanning sixty five to seventy three metres. Crews of twelve to twenty five run the operation, and several yachts employ a dedicated fitness or wellness professional aboard. Most carry twelve guests in six or seven cabins, though Bleu de Nimes and Marquise accommodate twenty five across thirteen and fifteen cabins respectively. Standard water toy packages include jet skis, seabobs and diving equipment.
Weekly charter rates open at one hundred and eighty nine thousand euros for Lamima and rise to six hundred and eighty thousand for Calex and Lunasea at the top of the fleet. The median falls around five hundred and fifty thousand euros. An advance provisioning allowance, typically thirty percent of the charter fee, covers fuel, provisions, berthing and bar.
Summer itineraries centre on the western Mediterranean: Monaco, the Cote d’Azur, Sardinia and the Croatian coast. The shoulder season brings Greece and Turkey into play.
