Twelve guests in six cabins is the most common superyacht configuration and the natural choice for families, groups of friends or mixed parties travelling together. Six cabins give each couple or pair their own private space, with the master suite typically on the main or upper deck and the remaining five spread across the lower deck in a mix of doubles and twins.
One hundred and forty nine yachts carry this combination, from a twenty five metre gulet through to the one hundred and six metre Black Pearl. The fleet draws from Feadship, Benetti, Oceanco, Amels, Heesen, Baglietto and CRN among others. At this size the yachts carry a full complement of features, from beach clubs and cinemas to gyms, pools and helicopter decks on the larger hulls.
Weekly rates open at eighteen thousand five hundred euros for Korab, a traditional twenty five metre motor sailer. The median sits at two hundred and fifty thousand. The middle half of the fleet falls between one hundred and ninety thousand and three hundred and eighty five thousand euros a week. Arrow, a seventy five metre Feadship, charters at nine hundred thousand. Alfa Nero, an eighty two metre Oceanco, asks eight hundred and twelve thousand five hundred. Add roughly thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
