Five hundred thousand euros a week moves the fleet past sixty five metres. Fifteen yachts sit in this band, quoted between five hundred thousand and five hundred and ninety five thousand euros, with a median length of sixty seven metres and a median rate of five hundred and sixty two thousand.
No shipyard repeats. Every yacht here comes from a different builder, from Feadship, Benetti and Abeking and Rasmussen through to Icon, ISA, Delta Marine, Dunya and Austal, which tells you these are one off projects rather than series hulls. All fifteen are motor yachts. Most take twelve guests across six or seven cabins, though Okto carries ten guests in five suites and Marquise takes twenty five, so capacity is worth checking before length. Volume, not guest count, is what the extra hundred thousand buys.
The rate covers the yacht and a crew of sixteen to twenty. An advance provisioning allowance of around thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks, and at seventy metres fuel is a genuine variable, so an itinerary that keeps moving costs materially more than one built around a few anchorages.
