A bow lounge is a deliberate design choice rather than a leftover space, and sixteen yachts in our charter fleet have one. The group runs from twenty four to sixty two metres with a median of just over forty, and includes Rio, Taleya, Valerie and Holdin’ My Own.
The idea is to make the foredeck a room. That means sunken seating out of the wind, a table, shade from a bimini or a hard top, and often a separate bar, so the bow becomes somewhere you spend an evening rather than an hour after lunch. Fourteen are motor yachts and two are sailing. The yards are spread thinly across this group, with Ferretti Yachts the only builder appearing more than once, alongside single hulls from CRN, Rossinavi, Overmarine, Turquoise and Sunreef.
Rates run from sixty five thousand euros a week to five hundred and eighty thousand, with the median at a hundred and fourteen thousand, which makes this one of the more accessible feature groups on the site. An advance provisioning allowance of around thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks, settled against actual spend at the end of the week.
