Explorer yachts reach anchorages that standard charter vessels never attempt, and Jet Skis on board extend that reach further. At anchor in a Norwegian fjord or a South Pacific atoll, a Jet Ski lets guests scout the surrounding coastline in minutes, find a hidden beach or simply ride open water at speed. The pairing of expedition range and high speed water sport sets this category apart.
Eighteen explorer yachts in our charter fleet carry Jet Skis, from Galena at thirty one metres to Octopus at one hundred and twenty six. La Datcha, a seventy seven metre Damen SeaXplorer, carries two alongside a submarine and helicopters. Sherakhan, a converted salvage tug of seventy metres, crosses oceans between seasons. Preference 19, Moka and Bold offer serious range with well stocked toy garages at varying scales.
Weekly rates begin at eighty thousand euros for Galena and climb to two million two hundred thousand for Octopus. The core of the fleet falls between one hundred and fifty five thousand and three hundred and seventy five thousand euros a week. The advance provisioning allowance adds roughly thirty percent, covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
The Mediterranean and Caribbean anchor the seasonal calendar, but these yachts also operate in Alaska, the Maldives, Patagonia and northern Europe. Explorer routes reward Jet Skis more than most, since the nearest harbour may be hours away and the coastline between anchorages is best explored at speed rather than by tender.
