A cinema on a sixty metre charter yacht occupies a purpose-built room on the lower deck or bridge deck, fitted with reclining seats for ten or twelve guests, acoustic panelling and a projection screen that has nothing in common with a television above a sofa.
Thirty seven yachts in this band carry a dedicated cinema. The fleet runs from the veteran Premier, a fifty five metre built in 2003, through to QU2, a sixty metre Amels delivered in 2026. Builders include Feadship, Benetti, Lürssen, Perini Navi, CRN, ISA and Heesen. Most take twelve guests in five or six cabins with crews of thirteen to eighteen. Cinema yachts at this length tend to carry other serious interior amenities as well, and more than half also offer a beach club or a spa.
Weekly charter rates open at ninety nine thousand euros for Premier and run to five hundred and ninety five thousand for Arience. The bulk of the fleet sits between two hundred and fifty thousand and four hundred and fifty thousand, with a median near three hundred and fifty thousand. Add an advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent for fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
Most of the fleet works the western Mediterranean from May through October, covering the South of France, Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearics. Several cross to the Caribbean in December, picking up the Leewards, the Grenadines and the Bahamas until April. A few work Southeast Asia or the Red Sea year round. Send us your dates.
