Helipad Charter Yachts

Curated Selection
A helipad changes the geometry of a charter. Guests join and leave without a tender transfer or a road journey, the yacht can stay in a remote anchorage while somebody flies in for two days, and a chef, a doctor or a forgotten passport can arrive within the hour. On a week where time is the scarce resource, it is the feature that buys the most of it. The distinction that matters is between a touch-and-go pad and a certified landing deck with refuelling and hangarage. Touch-and-go, by far the more common, allows a helicopter to land, unload and depart. A full certified deck with fuel means the yacht can carry its own aircraft for the week, which is what makes heli-skiing, remote glacier landings and genuinely inaccessible anchorages possible. Helipads sit almost exclusively on yachts above fifty metres, and more often above sixty, since the deck area and structural requirements are considerable. Our helipad fleet accordingly starts near two hundred and fifty thousand euros a week and rises well beyond a million. Where it pays off most is not the Mediterranean but the places that are hard to reach by sea alone. Alaska, Norway, Patagonia and the Pacific, where a helicopter turns a coastline into an interior. Tell us your itinerary and we will tell you which yachts can actually support it.
