A beach club transforms the stern of a motor yacht into a living space at water level. Doors fold open, the transom drops to form a swim platform, and what was the tender garage becomes a shaded lounge with direct access to the sea. It is the feature that defines how guests spend their time on charter, and beach clubs have become the single most requested amenity on enquiries.
One hundred and fifty motor yachts in our charter fleet carry a beach club, from a thirty metre Princess to the one hundred and twenty two metre Kismet with a multi level club spanning two decks. Benetti, Feadship, Amels, Heesen and Oceanco are the most represented builders. Twelve guests in six cabins is the dominant layout, though the forty metre band often takes ten in five.
Weekly charter rates open at fifty five thousand euros for Gypzy and run to three million for Kismet and Renaissance. The median sits close to two hundred and ninety thousand euros. Add an advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent, covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks. August commands the highest rates, with June and late September offering lower cost.
The western Mediterranean accounts for most summer charters. The Riviera, Sardinia, the Balearics and the Amalfi Coast are the core circuits.
