Sailing Charter Yachts

Curated Selection
A sailing yacht changes the rhythm of a charter week. Under way the engines fall silent, the yacht settles onto a heel and moves with the sea rather than through it, and the days organise themselves around wind and tide instead of a fixed schedule. For many guests that is the difference between travelling on the water and travelling with it. Our sailing fleet runs from traditional gulets and classic ketches to carbon-masted performance sloops and Perini Navi ketches of sixty metres and more. Accommodation typically spans four to six cabins for eight to twelve guests, with crew numbers from three to fifteen depending on the rig and the size of the yacht. Modern sailing superyachts carry the same beach clubs, tenders and water toys as their motor equivalents, and lifting keels on many designs open up anchorages that deeper hulls cannot reach. Weekly rates begin around forty five thousand euros for a well-found gulet in Croatia or Turkey and rise beyond four hundred thousand for the largest sloops and ketches in the Mediterranean. Fuel consumption is a fraction of a comparable motor yacht, which keeps the advance provisioning allowance lower across a full week of cruising. Sailing suits the Aegean and the Adriatic in summer, when the Meltemi and the Bora make for genuine passages between islands, and the Caribbean from December, where the trade winds hold steady across the Leewards and the Grenadines. Tell us how you like to sail and we will match the yacht to the water.
