A spa aboard a charter yacht is a room built around slowing down. It is not a treatment table wheeled into a cabin, which any good crew will do on request. A proper spa is a dedicated space with drainage, ventilation and privacy designed in from the outset, and it changes the rhythm of a week considerably.
The fleet divides by volume. Around fifty metres a spa usually means a treatment room with a massage table, a shower and a hammam or steam cabin close by. Above sixty five metres it becomes a suite, with sauna, steam room, cold plunge, relaxation area and often a hairdressing station, placed either on the lower deck beside the beach club or high up with sea views.
Sixty yachts in our charter fleet carry a spa, from twenty seven metres to over one hundred and twenty, with the median close to sixty three metres. Weekly rates open near seventy three thousand euros, sit around four hundred and thirty thousand through the middle of the fleet, and pass three million at the very top, plus an advance provisioning allowance near thirty percent.
